Vintage Glass Lidded Compote Pedestal Dish

A graceful vintage pressed glass lidded compote, finished in a soft pale blue tone and decorated with an oriental-inspired (chinoiserie-style) design. Raised on a slender pedestal base and topped with a pointed finial lid, it has an elegant, well-balanced silhouette that displays beautifully.

Approx 16cm in height.

Good vintage condition overall. Light surface wear and age-related marks consistent with use. A small, localised area of slight roughness is present at one point on the lid where it is typically handled. No cracks or significant chips noted.
